From the turn of a key the engine should fire instantly, this is thanks to the Starter Motor.
It consists of an electric motor, which helps to turn over the engine to start it.
Over time the starter motor begins to wear, which can either slow it down or seize. A slow starter motor can potentially mean it is not turning fast enough to start the engine.
Check your old starter motor for the following defects before fitting:
If your old starter motor shows any of these defects you have a vehicle fault that requires immediate attention. Failure to rectify this fault will result in the replacement starter motor failing due to the same vehicle fault. This will not be covered under warranty.
Please check the Notes section in the eBay compatibility table for fitment information relating to your specific vehicle. Failure to do so could result in the incorrect part being purchased.
