This listing is for an Antique Primitive American Hooked Rug on Burlap of a Fox Hunt / Hunting Scene with Dogs running Horses and Riders with their red dress , trees and landscape , measuring 33 inches by 51 1/2 inches .

I have tested some of the fabric shreds  and they seem to be all cotton. It is done on a burlap canvas.

It is in good to very good restorable condition . It is overcast at edges with some type of cotton ribbon glued ( I think its something like iron-on patches ) , some of which are giving up. The same ribbon is adhered on back in several places as shown, probably where there was a break , one of these breaks  is turning into a hole on front as shown.

Soiled and stained as shown.

About 1/2 inches in thickness and on the heavier side.

It has not been cleaned while in my possession .

I have acquired this to restore it and  I have not had the time to tackle it , hence offering it.

6 1/2 lbs. net weight on UPS balance .
