ITEM DESCRIPTION

A rare antique early Islamic bronze hanging oil lamp.

Dating to pre 1800, probably 17thC.

Cast in the form of a bird with islamic script to the side.

Very good antique patina and colour, totally untouched etc.

Measures 10.5 inches/26.5cm long and weighs well over 1kg unpacked.

Very good condition with no damage, no locking pin in the oil reservoir to the bottom which is easy to resolve.

Very good piece.
