This Listing is for an Antique Tibetan Engraved Singing Bowl / Gong ,  which its previous owner had indicated that it is an Antique Thai / Siam Singing bowl , White Brass / Copper ( not sure of metal and best guesses would be white brass and copper ) Finely Engraved  , with a motif of Praying Buddha  and an arabesque floral motif repeating on the exterior ( praying buddha 4 times and floral arabesque 5 times ) , weighing 942 grams net , measuring about 7 7/8 inches widest in diameter and 4 1/4 inches tall , Signed and Inscribed in English and I guess nepalese  , " C H & M K Black" and two other lines under it , one with " 14 X. X. 27 " and " XXX." where X's are again I guess Tibetan alphabet .

If you can see the writings on 2nd and third lines  and if you know what it says , please let me know. If you know how to read Tibetan and cannot see it in images and need additional images to see the Tibetan writings, let me know and I will try to better photograph the writings.

It is in very good General Antique condition with stains and wear and patina and what amounts to a like a crack extending about 1 inches in the mid part of the bowl as shown.

Engraving is very fine and at surface as shown. Designs and inscription kind of hard to see.

If you know the specific purpose of this bowl , please let me know.

The numerical engraving at base suggests that it is from 1927 or perhaps 1827?

I usually post many more images on my listing than the 12 listed on eBay gallery which only will be visible to individuals on classic eBay site ( that would be when viewed on a computer) . Images are continuous and have an order ( front , back, sides, etc.. ) and should be viewed in continuous fashion. If you are on a mobile site , click on SEE DESCRIPTION to see the complete description and all posted images.

There are a total of 18 images of this item posted within the description part of this listing. Make sure you see them all.

All shipments will be Insured with the exception of specific items listed to be shipped by Postal First Class Mail or Media Mail which will travel Uninsured at buyer's risk. I pack extremely well.

Great News On International shipments: Ebay has instituted a new International Shipment Option around March of 2020 Which is Insured up to $100 USD, Shows Delivery Confirmation and uses First Class. This option has resolved Issues with First Class Shipments which cannot be insured and did not show a delivery confirmation, hence I am adding a Shipment option called EBAY INTERNATIONAL STANDARD DELIVERY which in general is cheaper and roughly about half the cost of Priority Mail offered on Items that are under $100 and under 4 lbs of weight. If you do not see this option, ask for it and I will add it to the listing if I have missed to do so.Please note that in some cases the difference between priority mail and eBay International Standard Delivery is much less than 50% . In some cases about 19%  and less. This is because First Class is the method ebay International Standard Delivery uses and First Class uses larger denominations as oppose to 1 ounce at a time and I think like Half Pound or One Pound at a time.

For combined shipping and saving on shipment of multiple items together, add items to cart, goto cart and request total for multiple shipments.
