Antique Brass Conquistador Stirrup

This listing is for the single Brass Conquistador Stirrup shown in the pictures.

We don't know what happened to the other one. Given the battle damage seen on this one, we probably don't want to know.

A fantastic display piece, you can clearly see the effects of a couple of sword strikes, slicing the heavy brass open with impunity.

Along with the major battle damage, wear is seen on all the surfaces, testimony to the adventures the wearer experienced.

A dark aged patina is found on the metal, and the single iron bolt shows a rusted surface that takes years to develop.

The Stirrup measures about 9-3/4 inches long, 3-3/4 inches wide, and 5 inches high.

It weighs 2 pounds 5 ounces.

Condition: Excellent for display purposes.  All pictures show the actual Stirrup you will receive.

We see this mounted on a board, and displayed in a man-cave, bar, restaurant, game room, or similar location. We can only begin to guess at the stories it might tell us - an incredible piece of history!
