Up for bid are seeds of Darlingtonia californica.  It is a beautiful bog dwelling western US native perennial that gets great red to green pitcher like leaves shaped like a cobra’s head that catch and kill insects.  These beautiful plants are hardy to USDA zone 6, and they grow best in full sun to part shade.  They would make excellent additions to your rare plant collection, or just make a unique statement in your water garden or a wet spot on your property.
