A genuine vintage 1950s to 1960s era beaded sweater.  This one is really a nice one, loaded with a variety of sparkling black beads in a stunning pattern.   The beads are all across the bust area, across the entire front hem, on the back of the neck, and on the cuffs too.  Dark black, pure lambswool, nicely made.  Lined in black silk (?) taffeta, all but the sleeves are lined.  Sweet small round pearly buttons in front, with a lovely purple-black color.  Inside has a ribbon lined packet to help secure the buttons, as nice feature.   When buttoned, it has a slight blouson effect at the waist, very flattering.  Raglan sleeves for comfort and ease.  No maker's label, just the original linen tag which says "42" which is the bust size. MEASUREMENTS taken with the garment laying flat, relaxed, and fully buttoned.  Remember this is a sweater and has of course natural stretch.  Taken across the back and doubled, the Bust is 42" and stretches to wider.  Waist at the hem is 31" relaxed and fives to at least 40" without stressing.  Shoulders, seam to seam are 17".   Length is 21" long, shoulder to hem.   Sleeves are 22 1/2" measured on the outside curve.  PLEASE ASK if you have questions on the fit or need more measurements, and compare with a garment in your own closet.
