DESCRIPTION: Lovely original one of a kind hand crafted decoupage plate or dish with original design by myself, Lydia. This particular plate has a red background with sweet little cupids, roses and various greetings including Valentine. I created these back in the early 1990s using clear glass plates and cutout images from magazines. I would find a theme, or one particular image I liked, and then design a plate by gluing the pieces on the backside of the plate. The backs were then painted black and coated with a shellac to seal, and signed by myself. They are really decorative in use, but could possibly be used as a dessert plate if not washed in water or in a dishwasher, you would have to gently wipe to clean. This piece is truly a one of a kind work of art made by myself, and has not been mass produced. If you are a fan of John Derian‘s work, please take a look at mine, as they are quite intricate in design with many tiny pieces to form the final plate.

SIZE/WEIGHT: 6.25” across. 8 oz.

CONDITION: Please note that being hand made, there may possibly be some imperfections.
