Description

This album is over 100 years old!  The 1,200+ stamps in it, unused and used, are from the 19th century through about 1920.  The album, Scott's The International Junior Postage Stamp Album, is in Fair condition overall - I would rate the binder Good and the pages Poor.  The stamps you see in the scans are a fair representation, I think, of what's in the collection.  I notice that a good number of stamps are damaged.  I do not see anything of significant value, although the few U.S. Post Office Seals are interesting (there are a few more U.S. Revenue issues in the collection, but nothing U.S. besides these.  Opening bid is just $0.99, with no reserve!

Shipping will be USPS Priority.  CALCULATE.  If your calculated price exceeds the cost of Priority Medium Flat Rate, your parcel will be sent at the Medium Flat Rate.  Where the bid price of the lot is in excess of $49.00 for all foreign buyers, except Canada, the parcel will be sent Priority International for a minimum of $31.00.  Please write for a quote.

AN IMPORTANT WORD ABOUT PAYMENT . . ..

Please wait until you receive my invoice before you make payment.  That will facilitate a quicker shipment.  If you are still bidding on open auctions I will update your invoices as your winnings proceed.  The combined shipping fee may or may not increase as you continue to win bids - the cost for shipping will be determined by the final weight of the parcel.  You don't have to ask for combined shipments - I will combine lots so you will save on shipping.  You may let me know when you have finished bidding.

EXPERTIZATION REQUIRED?  You may have 90 days from the date your payment is posted to secure expertization of your stamp.  If the opinion received is "not genuine," and/or there has been an alteration to the stamp for which reason you wish to return it, I will remit full payment.  You will be responsible, however,  for the expertization fee.  You will need to send the Certificate along with the returned stamp.  As in all transactions of mine, if you are not satisfied with your stamp when you receive it, for any reason, you may return it for a full refund.
