We are just about ready to purchase a machine that can make chess pieces we create!

     This 15 x 15 chess board was designed and crafted by one of our artists.  He cut 2 x 2 pieces of Oakwood Green marble and Black honed slate to design this board.  The entire board is glued to a 16 x 16 Mountain Black tile and honed down to even dimensions and satisfactory eye appeal.  These do not come with pieces: I do apologize for that.  This amazing chess board can be flipped and the modern black slate side is a nice design on it's own.  If at anytime, you want the color to be enhanced, you can get stone sealer at Home Depot.  Others have used polyurethane.  That certainly gives it a gloss.  

    These stones are quarried from the earth.  There will never be 2 alike.  There will be fossils , mineral deposits, iron deposits.  There are stones that meet in the quarry and have some crossingover.  My point is, there will be aberrations in the stones, nothing natural is perfect.
