I have bought a large group of mostly antique embroidery pieces that come from around the World. They are fascinating, but I know very little about them. You must therefore use your own judgement as to their age, the country of origin and the condition. A few have labels and I will give all the information I can. Please use the photographs for your inspection.
Description: I know nothing about this little pouch but it came with a label that says: Buchi. Sind Pakistan.' There is an additional label that says 'Very fine work'. It is a bottle shape generally, and the decoration is complex chain stitch with satin stitch and with old mirrors inserted. It is lined with linen.
Size: 6" x 4.5".
Age: Not known. Appears antique
Country of origin: Pakistan?
Fabric type: Linen lined, and it appears to be cotton embroidery thread

Colours: Bright oranges, pinks & blues
Condition: One side is in far better condition than the other, which is also quite faded. There is wear to the edges and it is possible that mirrors are missing. To the underside, there is just a single mirror. Please study the photo's with care.
