A Golden Age masterpiece! A high quality beautifully shaped fine antique silver wire Japanese cloisonné slender delicate vase from the Meiji era (1868 - 1912) that has a long neck, rounded body, complex shoulder design with shoulders tapering down in a rounded line to a narrow flared out foot.   The fitting are brass.

The design is of a small graceful, arching white flowering tree with two wild song birds over a small garden of Japanese iris and chrysanthemum flowers.   The background is a highly polished wireless deep midnight blue.    The design is executed meticulously with very fine silver wire.

The vase is 9 1/2" tall.   unsigned.    Excellent condition.  There is a tiny professional restoration in the midnight blue area as shown in the close-up.  Stand is not included.   Ask all questions before bidding.
