This SS2 model is manufactured in high grade, polished Stainless Steel for maximum corrosion resistance

Stainless steel is hygienic, durable and easy to clean.

These filters are for use where there is no piped water supply - they operate under gravity, not pressure. 

Ideal for travelling expeditions and camping.  

The SS2 Gravity Filter offers highly effective filtration. The full capacity of 8.5 litres of water will take about 2 hours to filter through. 

The SS2 comes complete with two Super Sterasyl 7" candles which will filter up to 40 litres of water a day. 

They can easily sit on a kitchen counter top and are well suited to remote locations where the only available water is of a poor quality. 

They are also very portable so are ideal for travel use as the unit will collapse down from 49 cm when being used to 25 cm for transport.
