Superb Antique Owl Pin Cushion English * Circa 1880 This wonderful owl is made of a very heavy metal (lead or pewter perhaps) and realistically hand painted. The wise old owl sits on top of an open book. His back has holes for the pins to push into the cushion below. He's all original and is stuck with several glass headed pins. There are a few tiny chips in the paint at the edges, but the overall condition is excellent with no real damage. The base is about 2 3/8" by 1 7/8" and it's 2 7/8" high. It was bought in England.
