2 Vintage Sterling Silver Thimbles

English Hallmarks * Circa 1900s

One of these sterling silver thimbles was made by James Fenton and it has a lovely and unusual combination of patterns. The band is stamped with English Sterling hallmarks for Birmingham. The date letter is partially rubbed but looks like it's a small 'd' or 'h' which would be 1903 or 1907. The other thimble has a faceted rim with fine diamond knurling and the hallmarks for Birmingham 1937. It was made by James Swann & Son.

Both are in excellent condition, crisp and in round with no holes, dents or other damage. They are both about an American size 8 (15.0 & 15.1  mm diameter openings).
