Antique miner's candlestick holder & match safe, made by Lindahl Mfg. Co., Denver, Colorado. From what I read on the internet, this item, with its distinctive brass match safe handle, was patented by John Lindahl in 1905. It was very popular with miners, because it stored matches safely in mining conditions that could be damp or wet. This one has rust and wear consistent with age/use, and it is missing what looks like a tin tubular piece (for holding a candle, I guess?). If you look on the internet, you'll see what I mean. Otherwise in good, displayable condition. Approx. 10 3/8" long.

I will gladly combine multiple purchases for a lower shipping cost. Please wait for an invoice from me before paying if you buy more than one item.
