This is a greeting card from the Namgyal Monastery Book Shop at the main temple Thekchen Choeling in Dharamsala, India.  This is the monastery and temple of the Dalai Lama, on the grounds of his residence in exile.  It is blank inside for your message.

It is a color card which has a beautiful photo of the Dalai Lama and a quote.  It measures about 8 1/4" wide by 5 7/8" high.  You can frame it, or stand it up as it is, or send it to a friend.

The quote on the card says, 

"Never Give up.  No matter what is going on never give up. Develop the heart.  Too much energy in your country is spent developing the mind instead of the heart.  Be compassionate.  Not just to your friends but to everyone. Be compassionate.  Work for peace, in your heart and in the world. Work for peace and I say again Never Give up.  No matter what is happening.  No matter what is going on around you Never Give up."

This item comes from Tibetan refugees in Dharamsala, India, home to His Holiness the Dalai Lama and the Tibetan Government-in-Exile.
