Remember the big government shutdown of 2018-2019?  Hundreds of thousands of government workers were without a pay check for two pay periods.  It was a big fight over border security and a wall.  There were stories of hardship but also stories of communities helping unpaid government workers out.

This coin was carefully designed to highlight the high (or low) points of the shutdown. 

The front side is a miniature rendition of a government check made out to "Government Employee" for $0.00 and signed by the players involved in the shutdown.  The upper left indicates the affected pay periods of 2618 -01919. 

The back side highlights what the fight was about.  A $5.7 billion dollar border wall and the official drawing of it.  Otherwise known as a steel slat barrier.  That's a border patrol vehicle in front of the steel slat barrier.  (Too small go get the green strip on it).  It also gives the details of how long it lasted and the elected officials who were the major players as well as the political symbols of the two parties.  The donkey (democrats) on the left and elephant (republicans) on the right. 

Use this as a reminder that you can survive through anything the government throws at you, motivation to do something different or to memorialize your duty to country.

Combined shipping is automatically applied when using the shopping cart. Add all items to the shopping cart and check out when done shopping. 

I ship via US Post with most of my shipments being First Class Mail unless you choose upgraded shipment.  I normally ship every day except Saturday, Sunday and holidays.  I like to get everything out as quickly as possible because I don't like to wait for my packages and I know you don't want to wait for yours.

Your item(s) will be carefully packaged and shipped with a tracking number.  You will receive the tracking number once I print the label and upload it to eBay. Once you receive the tracking number, please allow up to 24 hours for the information to be available on line.

The delivery date that eBay puts in listings is an estimate only.  I have no control over how fast the Post Office actually delivers your package.  I can only control how fast I hand it over to the Post Office and you can see by my feedback that I ship quickly.

International Buyers Please Note:

In order to offer you those low low international shipping rates and save you money, I use a shipping consolidator.  Packages go to a consolidation facility in the United States where they are processed and sent to the foreign location.  In the foreign location, they are entered into that countries mail stream and delivered by the countries postal system.  Tracking may not be updated every day and every step of the way.

Import duties, taxes, and charges are not included in the item price or shipping cost. These charges are the buyer's responsibility.
