Here is a made in Japan MINOLTA MAXXUM AF 5000 35mm slr CAMERA W/MINOLTA AF 35-70mm LENS.  

The camera was made in Japan and works fine mechanically. The viewfinder is clear. The shutter works fine.  The battery compartment has some battery corrosion residue.

The Minolta maxxum AF 35-70mm f4 macro lens works fine and near excellent condition, No mold,fog, or haze inside, but has slight scratches on the glass. The aperture is snappy.
