John Hooley was my Great-Great Grandfather. The chair has been handed down generation after generation. I am the last one to receive the chair. And since I was adopted and have no children, I am putting it up for sale. I believe it is made of American Walnut, and I know for sure that the wood came from the Hooley Homestead in Kishacoquillas Valley aka, Big Valley Pa. and was hand made at the same location in the early 1800's
