A superb 1/72 diecast US Navy Grumman F6F Hellcat, from carrier VF-25 USS Santee in 1945.
It is from a De Agostini series of World War 2 fighters. The models & stands are the same as those released under the IXO brand some years ago, so I'm pretty sure that this series have been made by IXO for De Agostini.
The plane is predominantly made from metal & has many small detail accessories, & inter-changeable undercarriage parts.
The model measures 5 1/2" (135mm) in length & has a wingspan of approximately 6 1/2" (165mm).
It is presented in a vac-form "sandwich" & outer card box & is new, mint & boxed.
