• In a microphone, the part that cannot suffer from any mediocrity is the cell. Prodipe has developed, in France, an electret cell capable of handling 140dB and which will capture all the dynamics and nuances of your playing. In addition, its great linearity will perfectly respect the timbre and the sound of your accordion.
• Prodipe also paid particular attention to the fixing of the three microphones on the instrument: we opted for two microphones for the right hand. Indeed, a single microphone to capture the full extent of the accordion forces you to position it far enough from the instrument, which is a real drawback when you are surrounded by high volume instruments such as drums. By opting for two microphones for the right hand, this allows them to be positioned very close to the instrument and to capture all the notes and harmonies without interference from other instruments.
• In order to position them in the best sound recording conditions, three clamps were made with the greatest care, two clamps for the right hand supporting two very well suspended microphones, and one for the left hand. Each clamp is placed with a velcro for easy installation and removal.
• This microphone is also used in UHF version: to be connected to Prodipe systems UHF DSP B210 Solo or UHF DSP B210 Duo (specially adapted to the impedance of the 21 Lanen cell) for sale on another ad.
• A "Y" cable is also provided to join two microphones in one to save an input on a mixer or switch to an HF system.
