Beautiful and colorful Raku pottery figurine of a   . Handmade in a job development project in a small seaside resort near Cape Town, South Africa. This piece is a great addition or start to your collection! 
Using the Japanese art of Raku, the ceramic piece is painted in bright colors and glazed in a 950 degree kiln. Rather than traditional cooling, the pieces are then cooled in straw. This process allows the glaze to crackle giving each piece a unique and special surface while retaining their bright coloring.
