Indigo. This is a tie and dye indigo from Mali. This vintage textile, also referred to as mud cloth is an African ethnic fabric. This African indigo has a boho feeling, also known as a Shibori cloth, bogolanfini or an indigo ethnic fabric. It can be used as textile art. It is a natural dyed. Vintage textile.
Bògòlanfini or bogola meaning "mud cloth" is a handmade Malian cotton fabric traditionally dyed with mud. It has an important place in traditional Malian culture and has, more recently, become a symbol of Malian cultural identity. The cloth is being exported worldwide for use in fashion, fine art and home decoration
This piece of textile is a shibori tie and dye African cloth with a cool geometric design, a very rare design and piece ( will be very difficult to find an identical piece)
This textiles can be used as is as a wall hanging piece of art, a drape over a couch or piece of furniture, a table runner or as a throw. The fabric can also be used for making pillows, bedding, table cloth and others or simply for upholstery. It has a very casual boho styling and fits in any modern or rustic interior design.
