1938 Great British Coin Display Gift Set

This 1938 British year set contains the complete ten coins all issued and dated from the year, namely: halfcrown, florin, Scottish and English shilling, sixpence, silver threepence (these six all struck in 50% silver), brass threepence, penny, halfpenny and farthing.

This would make a wonderful and original gift for someone born or married in 1938 as 2024 will see their 86th Birthday!

The coins are housed within a display that is held in a protection case, sized just over 17cm x 12cm. The display and case are in New/Mint condition and the coins are in Fine (or better) condition.

Note - We don't clean/polish coins as this actually devalues coinage.

Our manufacturing process includes a precision laser cutting method to create the necessary holes in each display for the required coins to be inserted and held, safely recessed, in the correct position (beware of similar offerings that secure coins by crudely gluing them into position).

The product can be removed from the protection case, to allow frame mounted display, if so desired.
