Published by Del Prado/Osprey Aviation 2001

64pp. Illustrated including 12 pages of colour plates

Frustrated at the inability of the Italians to defeat numerically inferior Allied forces, the Luftwaffe arrived in North Africa in the form of the Junkers Ju87s, Messerschmitt Bf 109s. Bf 110 Zerstorers and Focke Wulf Fw 190s. Crack fighter pilots like Enneccerus, Sigel and Marseille fought an effective campaign in support of Rommel's Afrika Korps achieving incredible scores against the Allies. But their efforts were in vain in the face of the Allied advance.
