This expansion was first released in
1994 for the Richard Garfield collectible card game Magic the Gathering
from Wizards of the Coast and is now out of print.
Background: A Revised or 3rd edition booster pack contains 15 cards per
pack.
Distribution is 1 rare, 3 uncommon, and 11 commons. Released in April of
1994, in English, Revised or 3rd edition is a core set. The English set
contains 306
white-bordered cards (121 rare, 95 uncommon, 75 common, and 15 lands) ;
the foreign language limited editions had black borders and also 306 cards . The French
Black Bordered limited edition is distinguishable by the gold colored
line "Edition Limitée" near the top of the pack below the Logo (Magic L'Assemblee). The
white bordered unlimited French edition says " Triage non Limite" in
the line below the Logo. The black border edition also has a brown foil
top and bottom while the white bordered edition has silver foil on the
top and bottom strips.
Revised was the first base edition of the game to be sold in multiple
languages. Black bordered, limited editions were produced in French,
German, and Italian. Unlimited, white bordered editions in the same
languages were produced after the limited editions Black Bordered cards had sold out.
Each card is unplayed, in nm or better condition and pulled from original packs. Each
card has clean black edges, matte finish, no wear and sharp corners. The back is clean, clear of scratches or any wear. Actual cards are pictured.
