Emma Bormann original, vintage woodcuttitled, dated 1817 and signed in pencil by (Emma) Bormann (1887-1974) Austrian printmaker. ln the early nineteenth century, Heiligenstadt was an independent wine growing village in Vienna. The wood-cut is of the winery/winegrower’s house where Ludwig van Beethoven resided in the summer of 1817. Condition: Excellent with a few small spots lower right, not affecting the image.
