Egizia - "Paeonia" Glass Vase - Handcrafted in Italy - Contemporary

Egizia was established in 1949 in Poggibonsi, near Sienna in Tuscany.

For 70 years, the brand has given life to sophisticated objects,  using the silk-screen printing technique.

This super vase was designed by Ninchi & Locatelli.

The conical shape is made of mouth-blown transparent glass with double thickness.

The vase is fired three times at 550° to fix onto its surface the superb double hand-applied decoration that boasts textured 980/1000 sterling silver on the outside.

With the yellow backing it appears to have a hint of gold?
