1947 Great British Coin Display Gift Set

This 1947 British year set contains the complete eight coins all issued and dated from the year, namely: halfcrown, florin, Scottish and English shilling, sixpence, penny, halfpenny and farthing.

This would make a wonderful and original gift for someone born in 1947 as 2024 will see their 77th Birthday!

The coins are housed within a display that is held in a quality, wooden, picture frame with glass front, sized 24cm x 19cm.  The display and frame are in New/Mint condition and the coins are in Fine (or better) condition.

Note - We don't clean/polish coins as this actually devalues coinage.

Our manufacturing process includes a precision laser cutting method to create the necessary holes in each display for the required coins to be inserted and held, safely recessed, in the correct position (beware of similar offerings that secure coins by crudely gluing them into position).
