You are buying Deanes' Manual of the History & Science of Fire-Arms. This is a facsimile of the 1858 title issued by Longman, Brown, Green, Longmans & Roberts, London. The facsimile was issued by Standard Publications Inc., Hunting, WV as part of their “Gun Books of Lasting Merit” series. The interior is in good condition. The pages are tight. On the front right end paper is the name of a previous owner and the date 1948. There are pencil notations on pages 193-194 and index page 290, but as the old wives tales says, if you see one mouse there could be more. The cover is in near fine condition. It shows slight wear. The book is 6” x 8 3/4” tall and 291 pages. At the end of the book are 3 foldout illustrations.
