Joan Chamorro is the Founder and Director of the Sant Andreu Jazz Band. The project was started in 2006 by Joan Chamorro. He teaches children and young adults to play jazz to exceptionally high standards. Many are now professional musicians. Mr Chamorro's teaching methods are unconventional and produce remarkable results.

Joan Codina has been playing trombone with the Sant Andreu Jazz Band and related groups and projects since he joined in 2012 at the age of fifteen.
