Joan Chamorro is the Founder and Director of the Sant Andreu Jazz Band. The project was started in 2006 by Joan Chamorro. He teaches children and young adults to play jazz to exceptionally high standards. Many are now professional musicians. Mr Chamorro's teaching methods are unconventional and produce remarkable results, as can be heard on this CD.
The project has charitable status and proceeds from the sales of CD's and DVD's help to support the charity. There is also the online shop jazztojazz.com
