THIS IS WHAT THE TOOL LOOKS LIKE SET UP TO MEASURE UNDER THE HOOD. YOU REMOVE THE BACK FENDER MOUNTING BOLTS AND INSTALL BOLTS WITH THE NYLON SPACERS . THEN YOU MOUNT THE TWO BLACK POINTER HOLDERS AND SET THEM TO THE SAME HEIGHT ON BOTH SIDES. YOU THEN SET THE CROSSBAR TO EQUAL MEASUREMENTS ON BOTH SIDES, THEN SET THE THIRD POINTER HOLDER TO ZERO WHICH WILL BE CENTER LINE OF THE TWO FENDER BOLTS AND ALSO THE CAR . YOU CAN NOW CROSS MEASURE THE FRONT END. YOU CAN COMPARE MOUNTING HOLES FOR THE HEAD LIGHTS OR ANY POINT UNDER THE HOOD. NO NEED TO SET THE TRAM ASIDE EVERY TIME YOU WANT TO PULL. IT IS RIGHT THERE WHEN YOU NEED IT .YOU CAN ALSO SLIDE THE MIDDLE HOLDER TO ONE SIDE OF THE CAR AND THEN TAKE A STRAIGHT AHEAD MEASUREMENT AND THEN SET IT TO THE SAME MEASUREMENT ON THE OTHER SIDE AND COMPARE. THIS IS HOW THE TOOL MOUNTS TO THE REAR FENDER MOUNTING STUDS REMOVE FENDER BOLT AND INSTALL LONG BOLTS WITH NYLON SPACERS SET THE MIDDLE POINTER HOLDER TO ZERO CENTERLINE OF THE TWO FENDER BOLTS CENTERLINE OF THE CAR CAN BE USED WITH OR WITHOUT TAPE MEASURE.YOU CAN ALSO MEASURE THE FRAME RAIL FOR LENGTH AND COMPARE IT TO THE OTHER SIDE AND IF THE CAR IS SITTING LEVEL ON A FRAME MACHINE YOU CAN USE THE LEVEL AND SEE IF ONE RAIL IS HIGHER THAN THE OTHER. YOU CAN JUST PUT A LEVEL ON TOP OF THE TOOL AND DO THE SAME THING SET THE TOOL TO ONE OF THE FRONT FENDER BOLTS AND COMPARE TO THE OTHER SIDE CHECKING FRAME RAIL CHECKING RADIATOR SUPPORT THIS IS WHAT IS USED TO MOUNT SYSTEM UNDER TH VEHICLEYOU CAN SET THE SYSTEM UP UNDER THE VEHICLE BY CLAMPING THE PINCH WELL CLAMPS TO THE ROCKER PINCH WELLS .OR BY SETTING THE POINTERS TO HOLES IN THE FRAME RAILS .OR BY PUTTING SOCKETS ON THE ENDS OF THE POINTER SETTING THEM UP ON BOLTS ON THE FRAME RAILS.ONCE YOU HAVE SET THE CROSSBAR UP YOUR READY TO MEASURE USING SOCKETS TO SET UP CROSS BAR . YOU CAN MAKE A STRAIGHT AHEAD MEASUREMENT BY SLIDDING THE CENTER BRACKET TO EACH SIDE.A SOCKET WILL SLIP ON THE END OF ANY POINTER 3/8 SOCKET ON 3/8 POINTER AND 1/2 SOCKET ON 1/2 POINTER EVER WANT TO CHECK REAR STRUT TOWERS? HERE IS HOW, USING THE ROCKER BRACKETS BY SETTING THEM ON THE UPPER ROCKER PINCH WELL TO A POINT THAT IS THE SAME ON BOTH SIDES. THEN PUT THE POINTER IN THE END OF THE TRAM AND COMPARE TOWERS SIDE TO SIDE ROCKER BRACKETS ON UPPER ROCKER PINCH WELLS VISE GRIPS NOT INCLUDED CHECKING REAR STRUT TOWERS YOU CAN ALSO CHECK ANY POINT ON A B OR C PILLARS AND INNER QUARTERS CHECKING CENTER POST. IF THE TRAM IS TO LONG OFFSET THE CENTER POINTER TO ONE SIDE AND THEN SET THE TRAM. THEN OFFSET THE CENTER POINTER TO THE SAME PLACE ON THE THE OTHER SIDE OF THE CROSSBAR AND COMPARE CHECKING UPPER BODY GOOD FOR ROLLOVERS CHECKING FRONT HINGE POST INSTALL ROCKER BRACKETS AT THE SAME PLACES SIDE TO SIDE ON THR ROCKER PINCH WELLS. SET CROSSBAR TO THE SAME MEASUREMENT ON BOTH SIDES AT ROCKER BRACKETS. SET CENTER POINTER HOLDER TO ZERO AND NOW TRAM IS SET TO CENTERLINE OF VEHICLE DO THIS FOR THE FRONT OR REAR ROCKER BRACKETS ON PINCH WELLS MEASURING REAR FRAME RAILS YOU CAN ALSO CHECK REAR OR FRONT RAILS WITH LEVEL TO SEE IF ONE IS HIGHER OR LOWER YOU CAN CHECK FRAME RAILS TO SEE IF THEY ARE LEVEL SIDE TO SIDE AND USING TAPE MEASURE YOU CAN CHECK LENGTH BY HOOKING TAPE MEASURE ON THE HEAD OF THE BOLT ON THE CENTER POINTER AND MEASURING LENGTH TO POINTER CHECKING REAR SUSPENSION MOUNTING POINTS. JUST SET GAUGE TO THE GOOD SIDE AND PULL THE DAMAGED SIDE TO MATCH .YOU CAN LEAVE THE TOOL ON THE CAR WHILE DOING PULLS THE TOOL CAN ALSO BE MOUNTED DIRECTLY TO THE UNIBODY FRAME RAILS USING A SQUARE SET THE BRACKETS BY THE HOLES IN THE RAILS BY SETTING THE REAR OF THE TRAM TO ONE SIDE YOU CAN CHECK THE LENGTH OF THE RAIL AND COMPARE IT TO THE OTHER SIDE.PLEASE CONTACT ME BEFORE LEAVING ANY SEE IF THE BUMPER WILL FIT JUST USE THE TRAM SIDE TO SIDE. THIS WILL SHOW IF IT ONE SIDE IS SHORT . YOU CAN ALSO USE THE LEVEL TO SEE IF ONE SIDE IS HIGHER SET POINTER TO THE BALL JOINT ON THE GOOD SIDE AND THE COMPARE IT THE SIDE THAT WAS DAMAGED. IF THE BALL JOINT IS BACK THEN CHECK THE ARM MOUNTING POINTS TO SEE IF THERE IS AND STRUCTURE DAMAGE TRAM GAUGE MOUNTED ON A FULL FRAME TRUCK BRACKETS MOUNTED ON A FULL FRAME TRUCK CHECKING LOWER BALL ON A TRUCK TO CHECK FOR A DIAMOND ON A FULL FRAME VEHICLE. SLIDE TRAM TO ONE SIDE AND FIND A SPOT TO MEASURE AT THE OPPOSITE END OF THE VEHICLE. SET THE GAUGE AND SLIDE TRAM TO THE OTHER SIDE AND COMPARE. CHECKING LENGTH OF THE RAIL FULL FRAME TRUCK. BE SURE TO SLIDE THE REAR OF THE TRAM TO THE SIDE TO BE MEASURED
