The author of the book is Kenji Tomiki (1900-1979) who was one of the early students of the founder of Aikido Morihei Ueshiba.

This a hardcover book of Volume 22 of the Japan Tourist Library series.

The book is a first edition first printing dated May 1956 and filled with hundred pictures of Judo and self-defense techniques.
