New! 80-Page Booklet

Early days in Gibson County, IN, are recalled through a mixture of colorful tales, factual data, and the biographies of numerous early residents, in this reprint of excerpts from the rare 1895 book: The Pictorial Story of America by Elia W. Peattie, and other sources. The spiral bound book is 11" x 8.5 with two pages of the original book on each page. A vinyl sheet protects the front cover.

Note: Although the booklet is new, the source book had some words underlined in ink. Where these could not be removed without endangering the print, they have been left intact, and will appear on the reprints.
