Museum quality vintage Navajo all sterling silver cross, handmade by famous silversmith Kee Joe Benally.
Circa 1950's the cross has mid-century design with upturned edges and large oval turquoise stone at center from Cerrillos turquoise mine in New Mexico. Cerrillos is home to the oldest and rarest turquoise in North America (see pics for stone details). Stone is chipped.
The piece is hallmarked KJB and IHM (Indian Handmade) on reverse along with sterling silver
