Installation

check to see if you require
a PRV - pressure reducing valve
before installation
to comply with filter specifications

1/ Turn off water supply
*
2/ Run off some water from dispenser
to release any pressure left in system
*
3/ Remove red or blue Circlips
+ tubing from ends of used filter
note
push in collet (protrusion)
a few mm at ends of filter
to allow for removal of water tubing
note
keep red or blue Circlips as spares
note
water will drain from filter + piping
have bucket + some towels ready
note
used filter will contain water
4/ Remove grey or black dust caps
at each end of new filter
note
first remove tiny red or blue Circlips
note
push in blue or grey collets (protrusion)
a few mm > at ends of filter
to allow easy removal of dust caps
note
be careful + keep the Circlips safe
5/ Line up filter
check flow direction is correct
see picture on side of box

6/ Check tubing ends
as they can degrade
if so, simply cut carefully + cleanly
to present new connections
*
7/ Connect water supply end of tubing
firmly push water pipe in
attach red or blue Circlip
pull gently on tubing to lock in place
*
8/ Gradually turn water supply on
*
9/ Purge (flush) fridge water filter systems
run water thru filter into a bucket
until water runs clear
note
as with all new water filters
*
10/ turn water off
*
11/ Insert + connect tubing to
fridge side
out end of filter
firmly push water pipe in
attach red or blue Circlip
pull gently on tubing to lock in place
*
12/ Gradually turn water on
run water to remove air locks
note
some spluttering will take place,
as the residual air
s forced out of the filter by the water
note
carefully check for water leaks

filter Re-Set button for 3 seconds
filter status light turns Green
