The cover of this journal is made of vintage buffalo hide that has been coloured Mahogany Brown with a natural dye.

The cover is hand-embossed with a Wicca Celtic TREEofLIFE design and the journal contains pages of unlined cartridge paper.

Like all my books this journal is entirely handmade.

Contains 100 leaves/200 usable sides of cartridge art paper

Quality: - Paper is 150gsm cartridge drawing paper. It is suitable for drawing and sketching, and for writing with pencil, Biro, and gel, and with water-based inks or water colour. It is also suited for a fountain pen. 

The paper is bound in individually stitched folios

Binding: is 100% genuine water-buffalo hide, coloured with a natural brown dye. The leather is of a heavy quality, and is thick but supple. The cover is lined with black cloth and machine-stitched for additional strength.

All my journals are entirely handmade, and each piece is unique.

I love working with leather, but for ethical reasons I only use vintage leather for my books- ie leather from working animals that have come to the end of their lives.
