Helpful information: Please contact me with any questions or queries. Please check my accepted methods of payment, check if postage cost is displayed for your location and also check if the item can be posted. Some of my items are large and can't be sent. I will specify below in the policies section if the item is pickup only but if unsure, please ask.
Questions and Emails: Questions and emails can only be answered during business hours Mon - Friday. If you send an email over the weekend, please be patient. I respond to all emails, PLEASE CHECK YOUR JUNK/SPAM FILTERS if you haven't heard back from me. Also check the email address you have listed with ebay and paypal is still current! Seeing people leave feedback remarks about no communication upsets me when I personally email every winning bidder.
Postage: Postage is charged at the absolute minimum. We do not make any money on postage and most items are in fact subsidised. Please bear in mind that postage comprises of more than just the price on the postage label. There are costs of packaging, tape, protective materials and also a lot of my tracking lables are pre paid which means they won't appear on the postage label cost. If you feel postage has been excessive, please let me know before leaving feedback or a star rating.
Warranty/Lessons: If a warranty or lessons are specified, they can only be honoured at our store. If you have a warranty problem, just speak to us and we'll work with you. Proof of purchase must be established.
Pick Up: Pickup is welcomed. If you wish to pick up from our store, please notify me when you have won. Postage fee is not charged.
Feedback: Feedback is left for all transactions, It is hard to keep on top of feedback with many transactions happening, so please be patient. I do prefer to leave feedback after the purchaser has done so. I find that not many people will leave feedback for us otherwise.
COD: The COD service is by Australia Post and adds $10.15 to the total. COD is an extra service and is additional to the postage cost. You can also select COD if you want to pick the item up. Due to the large number of people choosing COD and failing to pick the machine up from the post office. I will no longer be providing this service.
Star Ratings: Please refrain from leaving low star ratings for any sellers. This is how ebay ranks users when you search for items. If you feel that my performance as a seller was not 4/5 stars, please let me know before leaving your rating so I can rectify any issues.
Second Chance Offers: Due to reports of my bidders receiving fraudulent Second Chance Offers from people/other stores impersonating us, I have decided to make all my auctions private. This is to Protect my Bidders. I have never made any Second Chance Offers and never will - be very wary if you receive a Second Chance Offer!
Other Stores: If you are copying my descriptions or using my listings as a template for your own, I ask that you at least drastically change the wording and the layout. We were the first sewing store to sell on ebay and have been doing this for many years. I'm flattered that you are looking to me for inspiration but it is very obvious when someone has copied my wording. You may be shocked to read this, but it happens a lot!
Machine Servicing: We are able to service and repair all brands of Sewing Machine, Overlocker, Ironing Press and Boiler Iron including all that we sell on Ebay. We have several Full Time, On-site and Factory-trained Mechanics. Your Sewing Machine is a complex piece of equipment that needs careful attention and like a car for example, they need regular maintenance and servicing to keep it in perfect shape!
