Tortoises should not be fed solely on supermarket food as they offer little goodness to your tortoise (this is what was fed to tortoises year ago remember when there were hundreds of them, this is why they have died out).

Plant these seeds in deep seed trays in the house or sprinkle them outside so your tortoise will have fresh food all the time (once grown). They come back time after time once chopped down to feed your tortoise.
These seeds are great if you have to keep your tortoise wake through the winter months.
