British P1903 Leather 5-Pocket Bandolier

Description

The same style of Bandoliers as those worn by the Jawa in the Star Wars movies.

These are quality reproductions of the 1903 Pattern Bandolier, and are made from brown leather.
The 1903 Pattern equipment was intended as a replacement for the 1888 Pattern, which had become outdated since the 2nd Boer War. These leather Bandoliers became a staple piece of equipment, and remained in use until after WWI, mainly by the mounted infantry.
These reproductions have all the correct fittings, and are

worn over the left shoulder. The 5 pouches are designed to hold 2x 5 round clips, and are complete with a brass buckle and fittings. A triangular shaped brass fitting is used for fitting the bandolier, to which a further strap is attached for attaching the strap to a belt for added stability.

These are fantastic reproductions of the WWI piece, and vital for any early 20th Century British reenactor or Star Wars Fan.
