A fitting tribute to one of Australia's most important historic occasions, the 2005 Gallipoli Mintmark $1 Silver Proof coin captures the spirit of the ANZAC tradition in fine detail. The Reverse of the coin reads, Gallipoli Lest We Forget 1915 - 2005. The Obverse is Ian Rank-Broadley's effigy of Queen Elizabeth II.

An absolute must for any One Dollar coin collector, Silver collector, or any Collectors of Error Coins. A uniquely struck coin with all of its accoutrements, definitely one to add to your collection.

*A word on Grading. I grade my coins as professionally as I can. Grading is a taxing, fun and frustrating job as well as being a highly subjective skill. My grading will almost always be on the conservative side rather than over grading.

Coins pulled from circulation will be marked as such. Often called aUNC, will  have unseen fingerprints or oils. that take years or more to start the oxidation process, this is a level of collecting that's a much cheaper way to collect called noodling .great way to save for your favourite coins in higher grades.

UNC coins generally have small imperfections such as light marks or surface anomalies dents scratches, mint marks, bagging marks, impact strike marks. Roller damage.

This happens when the coin is struck by another coin as it makes its way along the production line then falls into large hoppers. Often the least costly way to start. Beware of the different grades or Mint state coin statements, if you are looking for higher grades. Look at good photos. Any blurry out of focus can hide large imperfections.

Higher grades of UNC MS65+ and above are often from sets, or special releases. Maybe struck multiple times. Often producing a much better than normal UNC coin and a higher level of quality control.

Proof  Coins are made using highly polished dies and planchets, greater pressure, often struck multiple times producing the best coin. A much higher level of quality control than normal. Producing stunning coins

I strongly recommend you do not clean Coins as this will damage the coin and reduce its value greatly.
