This 98% cotton denim jacket features a hand-painted and distressed flag of Scotland (also known as St. Andrew's Cross or The Saltire with the slogan "whiskey 'an freedom". The flag was intentionally distressed/aged during painting process. The spelling is from the original poem. Featured in Season 3 of Outlander. This slogan is from the final stanza of Robert Burns 1786 poem, "The Author's Earnest Cry and Prayer" .

All clothing embellishment - be it sewing, painting, gluing - is done by hand, by me, and there will be imperfections. Please study all images carefully and write with any questions before ordering.

This jacket was purchased at consignment or a "second-hand" shop as either new or gently used, and has no obvious defects. It was cleaned before artwork was added, and may have been cleaned a second time. It was created in a non-smoking art studio, (though there are cats and a very fluffy dog on premises). This jacket is stored in a dry cleaning bag and kept hanging in a cedar closet awaiting purchase.
