Dated: 1927
Condition: Paper slight browned by time.
Few small original white color spots on the paper -
probably to hide black dots in the natural rice paper.

priest the beginning of wool from the sheep's gas.

Senior and Famous among Israeli Painters
painter, born 1893, Romania, Came to Palestine in 1912.
Education
1912 Bezalel School of Arts and Crafts, Jerusalem
1913-14 école des Beaux Arts, Paris and Académie Colarossi, Paris
From 1948 to 1952 was
first Israeli Ministry Plenipotentiary to Rumania.
Represented Israel at
the Venice Biennale in 1952.
He lived in Paris, Jerusalem and Tel Aviv.
Died in his home in
Tel-Aviv on October 13, 1974.
His house became
"Rubin House" Museum' where many of his
works are shown. Reuven Rubin was
among the formulators
of the primitiveness trend in the Eretz Israel art of the
1920s,
which, in the spirit
of the Zionist revival,
saw the East as a primal, innocent world.
