RAILFREIGHT WAS CREATED AS THE FREIGHT DIVISION OF BRITISH RAIL IN 1982 AND LASTED UNTIL 1987 WHEN IT WAS DIVIDED EVEN MORE BY THE TYPES OF FREIGHT CARRIED. THE RAILFREIGHT LIVERY WAS ALL OVER GREY / YELLOW WITH A RED STRIPE ALTHOUGH SOME RAILFREIGHT LOCOMOTIVES DID NOT HAVE THE STRIPE AND WERE JUST PLAIN GREY.
