We offer for your consideration this Antique apothecary balance scale.

We are almost 100% certain that this is an antique Henry Troemner apothecary scale.
At least it looks very much like the museum images we have compared it too.
The wood used in it's construction as a very tight, clear grained Oak, the table top is a dark rose pink marble. The top is hinged with a glass top. The design is very clean, I'd describe it as Arts & Crafts, and due to the age and time period it is a perfect fit.

The knob still functions to dampen or neutralize the balance arms.
There are two round silvertone trays. The feet are fixed blocks of wood. The only issue we can find with this piece is a chip in the upper right forward corner of the lid (see Pictures)

This balance measures approximately 13 1/4 inches wide, approximately 6 1/8 inches deep, and approximately 6 3/4 inches tall. this balance weighs approximately 6 pounds.

if you are a collector of old medical, dentistry, pharmacology equipment, this may be a piece you might want to add to your collection.
