This round disc padlock is the largest of the ABUS Diskus lock series. -- Yes, it is LARGE
The 80 refers to the 80mm (3-1/8") lock body outside diameter.
It will generally be too large to be used on storage units and lockers.
The ABUS PLUS cylinder with drill protection makes the lock virtually pick-proof while the heavy 11mm - 7/16" hardened steel shackle and heavy duty stainless steel lock body will ward off most brute force attacks.
ABUS invented the disc lock over 30 years ago and has continued to develop it into the market leader it is today.
The design has been copied by just about every lock supplier in the world but none come close to the quality of the original. Today the DISKUS family consists of 4 models and sizes ranging from 2" up to 3 5/8" wide. ABUS has designed a special hasp (140 Series) to be used with the DISKUS locks.
