This is a RARE 1971 vintage copy of Avengers #93 which features the team's early exploits as the Kree-Skrull war continues with guest appearance by Captain Marvel. This issue marks the 1st Neal Adams full interior work on the Avengers. Written by Roy Thomas with art by Neal Adams. It's first print and the overall condition is rated Fine. The cover is sharp with off-white pages. It has minimal creases and tears (staple holes) along the cover edges. Staples are intact and fairly firm. Some discoloration on front cover edges.
synopsis:
Captain America, Thor and Iron Man are in Avengers Mansion when the Vision bursts in and passes out. Henry Pym
conveniently arrives in the guise of Ant Man in time to repair him by
shrinking down to microscopic size and entering his inert form. Battling
through the Vision's high-tech immune system, the miniature Avenger revives the synthezoid.
After Ant-Man has departed, the Vision explains to them the
events that led up to his arrival: The battle in the Arctic, the
insurgency in alien hysteria, H. Warren Craddock's government hearings and finally the fact that Captain America, Iron Man, and Thor
had ordered the Avengers to disband. The Big Three heroes are shocked
to hear the last part as they did not in fact issue such a proclamation. The story continues...
