This hard case was originally made by Bell & Howell for their "FILMO" movie projector.

This case was produced and sold along with the projectors in the late 1920/early 30s. 

It is a very well purpose built case, it features riveted leather patch reinforced corners, as well as metal angle straps. The case is covered in a black faux leather with a pebbled surface.

It measures approximately 12 1/2 inches wide, 11 1/4 inches top to bottom, and 8 3/4 inches front to back. This case weighs approximately 4 pounds.

the left side panel does have a round ventilation port with a wire screen. the port is approximately 2 1/4 inch in diameter. A great place to add a steampunk style detail.

The interior is lined with a purple corduroy material 

 condition- This case is solidly built , and is beautifully aged, it has such a great look to it. the scuffs on the corners just add to it's character. You could break out some black shoe polish and wax to make it look almost new, but I think I would just apply some oil to it to preserve the look.
